The Milwaukee County Historical Society is the region’s only organization exclusively focusing on the comprehensive history, culture, people, and places of Milwaukee County. Featuring an amazing collection of artifacts and archival materials, the Society tells and shares Milwaukee’s stories at five distinctive locations.
The Milwaukee County Historical Center, located in downtown Milwaukee adjacent to Pere Marquette Park, serves as the Society’s main office and includes exhibitions, research library, and one-of-a-kind rental space in a stunningly restored historic bank.
Additional sites administered by the Society include Trimborn Farm and the Curtin House in Greendale, the Damon House in Wauwatosa, and the Kilbourntown House in Estabrook Park. Hours at these sites vary seasonally.
We look forward to seeing you!
